HIFEST is the Hastings Illustration Festival and it's gonna be mega!
Yes, this Saturday (6th December) masses of top illustrators will take over The Atrium within Sussex Coast College (by Hastings train station) and will put on workshops, fun and games as well as exhibit and sell their wares.
There will be live drawing sessions projected onto a big screen, illustrators extraordinaire including Gemma Correll and Martin O'Neill will be holding workshops such as Christmas card making and collage, aaand there's gonna be raffles with amazing prizes to boot!
The whole thing is organised by Hastings duo Nina Cosford and Ali Graham who themselves are pretty damned hot in the illustration world. There's a list of some of the guests here but there are loads more...including this guy who you've probable never heard of.
Hey and guess what! I'm gonna be there too with a ginormous Colour Me Good tablecloth and a tonne of pens and pencils so you can all muck in.
HIFEST is happening right by Hastings train station so you non-locals have no excuse (unless you're like in Canada or something) and you can always get some fish n chips afterwards.
The whole things kicks off at 11am and continues until 6pm
See you there!
